Our philosophy is to preserve your natural heart whenever possible. While many centers immediately opt to replace a damaged heart valve with an artificial one, our surgeons possess the high-level skills necessary to repair the patient’s own valve.

Successful valve repair often means better long-term heart function and, crucially, may eliminate the need for the patient to take lifelong blood-thinning medication.
